Every often there is a amazing fadeaway band with that nice one hit wonder song and they just vanish.. This is what i have seen since i started to follow some of them, puddle of mud, staind, creed, mudhoney, Limp bizkit.. Actually the whole modern rock with that rapcore tinge are same.. The Linkin park came with a boom and made 3 remixes of there only one album.. and the next were as lame as a balded goat!!! But the problem with this is they leave a kind of contusion for a period of 1 to 2 years where u wait for more good stuff from them.. I mean what happens there?? The stardom consumption.. or it they have lost talent.. or lost in themselves ... there is too much distortion in them i guess... and there are bands which is good and they dont give importance to sudden change of the rock genre itself but vary it a sligtly feeble manner, KORN, Coldplay... The only two band that i think of..And man the death magnetic sucks ass!!! They have actually screwd the "The unforgiven" with Unforgiven 3.. and with "the day that never comes" thay are trying to prove how good they were once upon a time... :( .. somehow they've lost it after Jason newstead left!!!! The irony of these things is thay still can sell these albums just for the name as if the St anger was not enuf.. But somewhere down the line after these streamlining the +'ves and the -'ves U will go back to the roots... Not that U stop listening to the bands.. It just U will be comfortable with the classics.. I tell pink floyd stay forever just for the lyrics and the their haunting music..
Dunno whats the future rock will be like probably 200 years from now they might be listening to some Grindcore Rock+Rap+Trance.. Something like Skazi... :) Or another possibility is " There will be a Highly evolved humans with brain drained psyche remixing to the previous genre's of music... or maybe there will be no variety of musical intruments left and thay start making all motley music and singing from themselves!!! :)
